| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH
DAILY INSPIRATION |
I am the
good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just
as the Father knows me and I know the Father. And I
lay down my life for the sheep. ( John 10:14-15)
The other night I was outside
enjoying my hot tub with my wife and I was noticing our
Border collie setting quietly but alertly on our lawn.
He was sitting almost at attention with his ears perked,
listening for any impending threats on his "herd".
That is his nature, how God made him. He loves the grass,
even in the middle of winter, and he is always looking
out for his "herd". He is never too close,
he doesn’t want to intrude, but is more than willing
to come and love on you if you call out his name. He
is a good shepherd. That is what he was designed for,
it’s in his instincts, and he can’t help
it.
The bible calls Jesus the good Shepherd close by to answer
our call, always looking out for our interests, protecting
us from danger that we could not handle. Keeping a lookout
for the enemy so we are not destroyed - that is part
of his nature. He is looking out for the best interest
of his beloved without being overbearing, always there
ready and willing to respond to our time of need. It
may not always be in a manner that we want, but be assured
it is always for our ultimate best.
Live it Fierce
