| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH
DAILY INSPIRATION |
Don't blame
fate when things go wrong--trouble doesn't come from
nowhere. It's human! Mortals are born and bred for
trouble, as certainly as sparks fly upward.
(Job 5:6-7)
When bad things happen to us corporately
or personally, we often find ourselves asking, "Why
did this happen; why me, why us?" When the twin
towers came crashing to the ground we asked, "How
could God let this happen?"
When God created man and woman he gave us "Free
Will" - the ability to choose what we want to do.
We can choose to think and act, or to react based on
instinct. We can choose to follow God or not follow God.
And God, in order for free will to really work, chooses
to not intervene and force us to do the right thing.
As we all know, Adam and Eve blew it and ever since then
there has been trouble and problems in the world. Just
as the verse says, "Mortals are born and bred for
trouble".
So why do bad things happen? Many times it's just because
we live in a sin-filled, selfish non-God fearing world.
We live in a world at war, spiritual war. And in war
there are casualties. Why did God allow 9-11 to happen?
Well, if He had prevented it then what would that say
about free will? And since when does God, the God that
the Bible says desires that all people everywhere come
to know Him and to have a personal relationship with
Him, take sides? No, God has never, and will never, interfere
with free will.
Bad things don’t happen because of "fate".
They happen because we live in a fallen world; because
of the sin of Adam and Eve. So choose to be different
and choose this day to follow God. Love Him and live
the way He would have you live so you won't be the source
of trouble to someone else.
Live it Fierce
