| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH
DAILY INSPIRATION |
This resurrection
life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending
life. It's adventurously
expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's
next, Papa?" God's Spirit touches our spirits and
confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we
know who we are: Father and children. And we know we
are going to get what's coming to us--an unbelievable
inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through.
If we go through the hard times with him, then we're
certainly going to go through the good times with him!
(Romans 8:15-17)
Why do we spend so much of our time
trying to make life "safe" and "easy" -
without risk? God created us for adventure! We are to
look forward to each day with expectant, excited hearts
asking what’s next. There is no adventure without
risk, in fact the greater the risk the greater the adventure.
But for some reason we seem to love this current life
on earth so much; we love our current position in life
so much that we will do anything to maintain it, even
if it means missing out on the very adventure for which
God created us. Sure we may, and we will, go through
hard times, but so did Jesus. He also went through good
times and received a great reward when He was finished,
and so shall we.
We need to look past this present life - it is not all there
is - and look to God through the eyes of a little child asking, "What’s
next, where do we go now, what great adventure do you have for
me today!"
