| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH
DAILY INSPIRATION |
The world
is unprincipled. It's dog-eat-dog out there! The world
doesn't fight fair. But we don't live or fight our
battles that way—never have and never will. The
tools of our trade aren't for marketing or manipulation,
but they are for demolishing that entire massively
corrupt culture. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4, the Message)
Ever wonder why the world does not
fight fair? Did it ever cross your mind that it is not
really the world, or the people in it that are your
enemy? Your real enemy here is spiritual: Satan. And
no, he does not fight fair. There is no such thing is
his book. He hates God and he hates you because you
love God and want to do God's will, and he will stop
at nothing. Nothing is off limits, too low or too dirty.
He doesn't care.
We have been given tools and weapons to fight this war
but too often we use them like a marketing manager trying
to get someone to buy the latest gadget. That's a waste
of the things God has given us. Our job is to utterly
defeat the enemy, but this is not accomplished the way
you might be thinking. It is done daily, one-on-one,
through friendship with those who don't know God. The
best way to demolish an enemy is to change his heart
and make a friend and ally. That is our task, take them
out by making them our friends and friends of God. We
are not to try and "market" to "manipulate" people
into the kingdom. We are to love them, pray for them,
and befriend them, giving them the chance to have their
hearts changed and then join us in changing the hearts,
minds, and lives of others.
Live it Fierce
