| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH
DAILY INSPIRATION |
God put the
world square with himself through the Messiah, giving
the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of
sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone
what he is doing. We're Christ's representatives. God
uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences
and enter into God's work of making things right between
them. We're speaking for Christ himself now: Become
friends with God; he's already a friend with you.
(2
Corinthians 5:19-20, the Message)
You are Christ’s representatives,
His messengers, examples, spokesperson, and reflection
of His character. Does the way you live your life and
relate to others cause them to want to become like you
- like Christ? Or does it make them say if that is what
a Christian is like I want nothing to do with it? How
you relate to and treat your spouse, parents, friends,
siblings, and children (no matter their age) is crucial.
Does it draw them to Christ and a loving relationship
with you or push them away and drive a wedge between
the two of you?
We are to live and relate to others in way that draws
them to Christ and when we realize that we are doing
the opposite it is incumbent on us to ask forgiveness
from God and them for being a poor example and not to
use, “well I’m not perfect” as an
excuse to not change our behavior. We might as well
say, “I don’t care what happens to you or
what you think. What I want - my selfish wants and desires
- are more important to me than your relationship with
Christ”. Sounds a bit harsh, I know, but when
we become unyielding in our thinking and the way in
which we are willing to relate and reach out to others
that is what we are saying.
So where are you today? Are you being Christ’s
representative, or are you living for yourself, more
concerned about what you want than what others need?
We just finished celebrating the anniversary of Christ’s
death and resurrection. This is a prime example or caring
more about the needs of others than the desires of self.
Take this time to make a change in your life. If Christ
could go through all that he went through for you surely
you can bare the small inconveniences in your life for
the benefit of others.
Live it Fierce
