| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH
DAILY INSPIRATION |
How good
and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!
It is like precious oil poured on the head, running
down on the beard... (Psalm 133:1-2)
Why do argue so much with each other?
Don’t we enjoy being with other people anymore?
Have we become so self-absorbed that we will forgo peace
and harmony in our lives just to prove a point; just
to prove we are right? Are we so concerned with what “we” want,
what “we” think all the time that we are
willing to hurt other people for our benefit?
It has become so ingrained in us from our culture that
we have rights and that somehow the rights of the one
supersede the rights of the many. The Bible teaches
that we are to put the needs, desires, and rights of
others before our own; we are to, within the realm our
ability, live at peace with everyone.
When we choose to live our lives as God intended then
there will be peace between us, it will be pleasant
and it will breed contentment. It may seem on the surface
that putting others before yourself makes you a doormat.
However, what is your goal in life? Were you put here
to always be right, lonely, and in conflict or to reflect
the love of God to others and live your life in peace?
The choice is yours - the question is what will you
choose?
Live it Fierce
