| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
When Jesus
arrived in the villages of Caesarea Philippi, he asked
his disciples, "What are people saying about who
the Son of Man is?"
They replied, "Some think he is John the Baptizer,
some say Elijah, some Jeremiah or one of the other prophets."
He pressed them, "And how about you? Who do you
say I am?"
Simon Peter said, "You're the Christ, the Messiah,
and the Son of the living God." (Matthew 16:13-16,
the Message)
Who do you see Him as? A king and
lord waiting for you to make a mistake so He can punish
you; a potter, your master, a friend, your lover; lover
of your soul? And how do you see the Bible? Is it a
book of history, laws, rules and regulations, or a love
letter, a love story filled with passion, intrigue,
battles; a story of one person’s, God, fight for
the one He loves; the affection of His heart?
How you view God, and His word, tells a lot about how
you live your life. It's what drives you and what motivates
you daily. If you see Him as only a King, the Lord,
the Judge, and you see His word as laws, rules, regulations,
and the story of His judgment and wrath on those who
do not do what He wants, then you are most likely living
your Christian life our of fear. You are doing what
you do with the hope you will not get punished. That's
living your live for you. The focus is on you. You are
hoping that if you follow the rules nothing bad will
happen to and you will live a good life. Doesn’t
that sound bit selfish?
If you see Him as the King who peruses you out of His
passionate love for you, His desire to share His love
and life with you, His beloved, and His word as an epic
story full of love, passion, heartbreak, deceit, intrigue,
betrayal, and forgiveness then you'll view His quest
is to have an intimate relationship with you. Then you
are most likely going to be living your life with love
and passion from your heart for God. Then your motive
for your daily actions is most likely going to be out
of your undying love, your enamored-ness with God and
His love for you and you do not worry about doing wrong
or being punished because love, the motive of love can
do no wrong.
So, again, how do you view God? How do you want to
view God? Are you seeing Him and living your life they
way you should, with passion, out of love for Him? If
not make a change and start today!
Live it with Passion
