| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
Now that
we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest
with ready access to God—let's not let it slip through
our fingers. We don't have a priest who is out of touch
with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing,
experienced it all—all but the sin. So let's walk
right up to him and get what he is so ready to give.
Take the mercy, accept the help.
(Hebrews 4:14-16, the Message)
We are all looking for someone whom
we can relate to, someone who understands us and our
struggles. This need is so great that many times people
reject help and counsel from others just on the grounds
that they have not been through or had to deal with
their the experience.
Well, there is someone who has dealt with it all - Jesus.
The Bible tells us that he faced every type of problem,
struggle and difficulty known to mankind. He wept, prayed,
struggled, agonized over and had longings and desires.
He when through all of this and dealt with each of them
appropriately. Each test He was given He passed. He
did it all without sin. Why? So He could be that person
we could relate to, talk to, trust and learn from.
So often when we are going through tough times, sometimes
brought on by our own actions and many times not, we
long to talk to one who can relate and understand what
we are going through. Surprisingly, we often do not
turn to Jesus. Don’t let this great gift, this
great opportunity “slip through your fingers”.
You want and you need someone who can and will understand
you. That person is Jesus. Let Him be your best friend
and confidant.
Live it with Passion
