| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
“Love
the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your strength and with all your
mind”. (Luke 10:27, the Message)
Why did Jesus say this? What was
His purpose in telling us this? Was He just giving us
another command to follow? Was He just trying to condense
the old law into a “easy-to-remember” statement?
When you hear or read this passage do you view it as
another command, regulation, or level of attainment,
part of the duty you must fulfill to be a “good” Christian?
Or do you view it as the words of love and encouragement
for one you loves you more than you can ever know; so
you can be and live your life the way He intended?
Do you wake up each day excited about the day, anticipating
what God will do or bring into your life, or do you
wake up dreading the day afraid of what may happen to
you, afraid of the life you have created for yourself?
What would your life be like if you really loved God
the way Jesus suggests, with no care about what others
think, with total abandonment of everything the world
values and sees as right and for the love of your God?
These words are not just instructions on how to live;
they are not mere commands of duty. No, these are words
of encouragement from the lover of your soul, from the
one who loves like no one else. These are words for
the freeing of your soul. These words are designed to
bring incredible freedom and peace to your heart; to
bring you a sense of awe and wonder about your day and
life. They are designed to free you to live the way
God created you to live, anticipating what God has in
store for you each day. Your anticipation should be
so great that you don’t want to miss a minute of it.
Do you want to live a life of adventure, wonder and
awe; setting aside your own agenda and eagerly anticipating
what God is going to do today? Then love Him, spend
time with Him, not as just another appointment in your
day, but quality time where you lose yourself in Him.
Learn to love Him with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.
Live it with Passion
