| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
"If
any of you are embarrassed over me and the way I'm
leading you when you get around your fickle and unfocused
friends, know that you'll be an even greater embarrassment
to the Son of Man when he arrives in all the splendor
of God, his Father, with an army of the holy angels."
(Mark
8:38, the Message)
When the subjects of faith, religion,
or spirituality come up in conversations at work, school,
or other social occasions what do you do? What do you
say? How do you feel?
It used to be easy to talk and share about God. In fact,
there was a time when it was the socially acceptable
thing to do, and many did for that reason alone. Unfortunately,
these days many perceive a Christian as someone who
is a narrow-minded bigot, a holier-than-thou and a homophobe.
It’s no longer a popular thing to be a Christian.
So what do you do with God? Do you stand up for Him
or do you, for fear of what others might do or say and
for fear of your friendship or job, recoil and pull
a “Peter”? (Deny Him)
Jesus was very clear. If we are embarrassed about our
association with Him, if we're not willing to admit
we love and belong to Him, not willing to acknowledge
Him while we are living here, He will not acknowledge
us when He comes back.
Don’t be caught up in fear of what others think
now; be more concerned about the one who loves you the
most. It’s His opinion that matters most. Theirs
is for a lifetime, His is for eternity.
Live it with Passion
