| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
In a well-furnished
kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver
platters, but waste cans and compost buckets--some
containers used to serve fine meals, others to take
out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can
use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests
for their blessing. (2 Timothy 2:20-21, the Message)
So what kind of container of God
do you want to be? All are part of the household and
belong to the homeowner, but some have a place of show
and use that is used to draw others to the owner, used
to show them that they have value and worth. He shows
and uses His best.
Did it ever occur to you that how you live your life,
the passion and pursuit that you show and have for God
and your submissiveness to Him, can play a role in how
God will use you? It is clear from this passage in Paul’s
letter to Timothy that it does.
God desires that all will enter into an intimate personal
relationship with Him. He has chosen to use others who
have made this choice to deliver the message to those
that need Him. But whether or not you get used to spread
the message and how you are used is somewhat up to you.
If you are stubborn, un-teachable, still wanting to
run your life and have not released all control to Him
you are not very usable to Him. If, on the other hand,
you are teachable, available, willing to follow His
lead, having released all control and claim to your
life to Him, coming to Him on His terms, then He can
use you in ways you have never dreamed of.
If you want your life to make a difference, if you want
God to use you in a mighty way and to fulfill the calling,
purpose and reason for which you were created then press
into God. Release all control and claim on your life.
Embrace Him and all that He has for you on His terms.
Embrace your King, your Master, your Father, your Friend,
and your Lover and then you will “become the kind
of container God can use to present any and every kind
of gift to his guests for their blessing.”
Live it with Passion
