| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
God's readiness
to give and forgive is now public. Salvation's available
for everyone! We're being shown how to turn our backs
on a godless, indulgent life, and how to take on a
God-filled, God-honoring life. This new life is starting
right now, and is whetting our appetites for the glorious
day when our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, appears.
He offered himself as a sacrifice to free us from a
dark, rebellious life into this good, pure life, making
us a people he can be proud of, energetic in goodness.
(Titus 2:11-14, the Message)
Do you desire beauty? Do you desire
adventure? Does your heart leap at the idea of life
with perfect love, a life without struggles and hard
times? Do you desire to be loved and known completely
without shame of embarrassment? Do you desire a stress
free life? If you answered yes to any of these questions
it is because God put those desires in your heart.
As we start to move into a personal intimate relationship
with God our heart is awakened to what it was created
for, a life with God. The good times we have the “mountain
top” experiences, are not given to frustrate us
like we were being teased with something we want but
can’t have. Instead, it is “wetting our
appetites” for what is to come when this life
is over and we are with our God, our lover. These are
the incentives for staying the battle and fighting the
war of our hearts and the hearts of others.
God has shown us how we are to live, how we are to stay
in, abide in Him and how to live a God-honoring life.
He has given us all we need, and all we need to know,
through the example of the life of His son Jesus Christ.
As we follow the Holy Spirit’s tugging of our
hearts our desires for life, intimacy, adventure, beauty,
and the willingness to take our part in the battle are
awakened. God, through His Son, has rescued us from
our unfaithful hearts, given us new hearts and is turning
us into people He can be proud of. We can be energetic
in goodness if we will only let Him.
Let God work; follow His call and His gentle tugging
on your heart.
Live it with Passion
