| LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
Our Savior
Jesus poured out new life so generously. God's gift
has restored our relationship with him and given us
back our lives. And there's more life to come—an eternity
of life! Stay away from mindless, pointless quarreling
over genealogies and fine print in the law code. That
gets you nowhere. Warn a quarrelsome person once or
twice, but then be done with him. It's obvious that
such a person is out of line, rebellious against God.
By persisting in divisiveness he cuts himself off.
(Titus 3:6-7, 9-11, the Message)
How often do we find ourselves in
an argument over some minor point of scripture or interpretation
of it? We often forget the most important thing, the
simple truth of the gospel — Jesus Christ's coming
to rescue us from sin and death, giving us our lives
back (the lives He created us for), dying for us n the
cross, raised again on the third day and now seated
at the right hand of God. That is God’s gift to
us so that our lives and relationships wit Him be restored.
Our job is to share that good news with those who do
not yet hve a relationship with God. Avoid arguing over
the “finer” points of the faith with fellow
believers. That bickering does nothing to draw others
to Christ and if anything it pushes them away.
Stay focused on the simple message, on what matters
and on task. Be who God created you to be and do what
He designed you do.
Live it with Passion
