| LIVING THE
SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION |
For though
we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world
does the weapons we fight with are not the weapons
of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power
to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and
every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge
of God, and we take captive every thought to make it
obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 — New
International Version)
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you
may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate
of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that
comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of
faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of
God. (Ephesians 6:13-17 — New International Version)
We are continuing with the spiritual
warfare and the myths about this warfare.
Myth #3 regarding spiritual warfare and our enemy: Some problems are psychological
and some are spiritual.
This implies a division between the human soul and spirit, which does not exist.
There is never a time when God is not present (I am with you always, I will never
leave you…) or when it is safe for us to remove the armor of God. If we
do we are then vulnerable to attack which will manifest itself in the physical
as well as the spiritual. There are many recorded incidences in the Bible where
the physical problem was the result of, or the manifestation of, a spiritual
issue. There is no inner conflict (something that you are thinking and/or praying
about) that is not psychological; it always involves your mind, your emotions
and will. We cannot separate the two. Our physical world and our spiritual world
are forever intertwined. Both will affect each other. If our world view does
not include seeing God active in our physical world and our struggles then at
best it is incomplete and at worst a distortion of reality.
Live intentionally, purposely, free and with passion,
